Bond was the first standard poodle to grace the Kingston household. He introduced Diane to the art of showing poodles and keeping them in coat. Bond had a successful puppy career, finishing his Canadian Grand Championship before the age of one, and accumulating multi-group placements, puppy groups and best puppy in shows. Bond retired shortly afterwards, and began learning agility and obedience. He quickly became an agility whiz and a great obedience dog, proving he had both beauty and brains.

Sadly, Bond had some temperament issues that could not be overcome.   He was not suitable to be placed in another home as he was a liability and had extreme animal aggression.
